At 10-8 vs top 200 RPI teams, it isn't looking very good for the Trees

Sorry Trees, no at large for you this year. Need to win the conference tournament to dance. Right now I would be concerned with getting into the NIT. Better not add to your loss list. GO ACES!!!

Well I think I have seen these posts before??? It is def. not over for the Sycamores. We will win out until the MVC finals and finish the season at 23-10 with an RPI of roughly 35-40. That is a good resume. We just love making things difficult.

What make you think you're going up win out? The mvc champ will probably have 6 losses this year.

I hope you end up with another loss or 2, same for WSU. I hope you both lose on Friday in STL and Creighton wins Arch Madness. I am crossing my fingers for 1 MVC bid. if my Saluki's cannot be good, I certainly don't want any other MVC team to be good either.

I will worry about the MVC being strong again when the Saluki's are strong again.

what a great attitude to have saluki, don't you understand that the more teams the MVC places in the tourney, the more income that generates for YOUR school as well. Grow up, your team will be relevant again at some point but for now you need to root for as many MVC teams to get into the NCAA as possible

Eh, I hear the money argument all the time, doesn't make up for my dislike of the other Valley schools.

nobody said you have to like the other MVC schools, who cares, if you want SIU to continue to suffer financially then more power to you.

I am glad your dislike of other MVC schools is enough to offset income that would almost single-handedly pay Barry Hinson's salary. Logical.

I dislike Creighton and ISUb, but if each of them reach the tournament and win a game that is an extra $300k/yr for multiple years for WSU. That buys a lot of goodwill come postseason. And my school isn't broke, unlike yours.

Are you saying that most Shocker fans were for ISU last night cause that is what is good for the conference? Might want to rethink that. Go check out your forum, most if not all were hoping ISU lost for their own good. Knowing it would cripple an at large bid for ISU. Therefore, I would like to never hear a word from Shocker fans about money and the NCAA. Most of you were not singing that tune last night.
