Can someone other than CU, WSU, or ISUblue win the MVC?

Looking at the schedules I can see at least a couple more games that each of these three could lose. How crazy would it be if UNI rallied back and won the league?

Hmmm. . . well i guess if you want to keep that shot at making a run for the title alive, it'll start tonight. But i'm going to go ahead and take the Jay's by 10-12pts.

Mathematically, yes. Realistically, not a chance.

I kinda think its funny that some people think horribly inconsistent teams like UNI and Illinois State are all of a sudden going to go on 7 game winning streaks.

I put the odds at near one hundred percent that either WSU or CU wins the conference. Although mathematic possibilities exist for others, they are about as likely as me winning the Powerball or marrying Katherine Webb the Miss Alabama lady.

You end up marrying her and i'll bow to you good sir. . . Could UNI or Eville end up getting to 1st, yes, but i have a hard time seeing BOTH WSU and CU completely tanking these last few games.

I'm not going either way on this one. I really have no idea what is going to happen and how the Jays will react to the 2 game losing streak. Honestly I think either the Jays win by 15 or lose.

UNI may win...but it is no better than a coin flip. You would be a damn fool to go "huge" on UNI.

The thing is that if UNI beats CU tonight they are only a game back and would have the tiebreaker.

UNI is the only one that could jump into the discussion. Extremely unlikely, but mathematically possible.

If Illinois State was 7-6, instead of 6-7, I would put them in the same category.

This league is just crazy this year.

But the thing is they are not really that inconsistent anymore. ISU has won 6 of 7, looking good doing so. And UNI has won 5 of 7 with the 2 losses being crazy/flukey finishes in Indiana. Both teams have been playing good basketball for quite some time now.

Looking at schedules of WSU and Creighton from here on out, its certainly not inconceivable that they would drop a couple more games with the way that they have played the last couple weeks.

People probably said the same thing about Indiana State's chances just a week or two ago, and before last night they had found their way to first place as a result of some big wins and some losses at the top by others.
