So all 3 schools (WSU, Creighton and Indy State) control their destiny to a conference championship? That's what I thought.

I thought that you said that Creighton produced smart people.

What is hard to understand? All three teams do control their destiny.

If Wichita State wins out, they win the conference outright. Fate is in their hands.

If Indiana State wins out, which means beating Wichita State, they will at worst tie Wichita State and Creighton in record. Fate is in their hands.

If Creighton wins out, which also means beating Wichita State, they will at worst tie Wichita State and Indiana State for best record. Fate is in their hands.

They all cannot win out, Creighton and Indiana State each could, but they each do control their own fate based on if they win their games and they do not have to rely on anyone else beating someone to help them out (such as UNI, who could win out and still finish in 4th based on what the 3 above do).

Nope. Cu and ISUB need somebody else's help to win a outright championship since wsu has 1 game lead.

My answer to the thread's title is as follows:

Maybe, but it is improbable.

Don't think that was the question. They don't need help to win a championship. Although it could be a shared one.

If wsu and cu runs the table and then cu beats wsu in the final game - wsu is still the mvc champion and #1 seed in STL. Therefore CU does not control their destiny.

No...they are co-champs, not that hard of a concept to handle.

Yes, they may win the tie break for the seeding but they are still co-champs.
