shox just simply could not get in front of Kemba Walker defensively. He literally won that game by himself.

And, IMO, wsu shot too many threes. Even though they made a lot of them, I think that was part of the reason for the foul difference.

But they did get screwed on several calls.

Great overall performance and so much to be excited for if you are a Shox fan. Unfortunate, however, that another game slipped away from the MVC.

What's more unfortunate is that WSU now gets stuck with Chaminade. No one would wish that on a team participating in the Maui tournament. Hoping for a Michican State loss tonight.

Tough loss. That said, Kemba Walker is the real freaking deal. I was impressed with Gabe Blair, I never thought he woulkd become such an important player for the Shockers but he has become solid. I was disappointed with Stutz. He was solid at the end of last year and reports on Shockernet had him as quicker this year. He seemed slow. Where was EO?

WSU - solid effort, good team; Walker - great player, unstoppable; calls - some questionable... all worked together to give UC the W, but WSU has many more games to play.

I thought Stutz looked over matched, I figured the more athletic EO would have made an appearance. If you have two big guys like that, I would think you could swap them based on the other team. I thought there were quite a few mistakes for upper classmen, but it could have been the limited schedule before such a big game. Most athletic team I have seen in the Valley in quite a while.
