If you look at that picture it looks like a kick to the face. If you watch the replay it looks like a kick to the chest. Either way watch the replay or look at the pic and you can see him clearly staring at the WSU player while doing it. How often does a player kick another player on a rebound with his feet flailing? How often is he staring right at that player while kicking him in the chest? This is clearly intentional.

I've watched the gif about 100 times and I still can't come up with any reason for him to raise that leg other than to kick Cotton.

So they stopped, turned toward the fans, and proceeded to engage in a shouting/taunting match?

Dumb and thuggish. A very bad combination, but I can't say I'm surprised. The two go together like mashed potatoes and gravy.

Kyle, I'm sorry, its hard to understand this type of emotion when you're hoping to get the 3 seed instead of the 4.
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.

then you don't have good imagination

Nice one.

Probably because it's never happened and the players at those programs show discipline and poise instead of thuggish behavior.

I watched the replay since I missed as I was celebrating. Players did nothing except leave the floor saying "scoreboard". Coach Jans only responded after he was hit by something thrown from the stands. ISUR needs to get control of their fans.

The fact is it should have been a Flagrant 2 foul and Carmichael should have been ejected and suspended.

So your OK with fans throwing coins at players?

UNI fans must not have watched our game this weekend. Marc Sonnen drilled a 3 right in front of the student section (who was most likely yelling obscenely) and stared the student section down for a good couple of seconds. UNI fans need to get off their high horse. You may have a distaste for WSU, but at the wrong time this could happen to any team. I would like to think coaches would be above it, but you just never know how the mood is hitting them.

The kick wasn't even above the shoulders. It was to the effing chest. Chest is not above shoulders. This is a joke

I seem to remember in Marshall first year, that ISU red beat us at home and then begin floor sliding and then as they left the tunnel they were in shooting matches with the students. It happens in emotional wins like that. Get over it

He should not have looked at the player, extended his leg, and push away. Head, face, shoulder, I do not care. It was a flagrant foul. Now, do I think he intended to hurt the other player? Of course not. However, player safety is paramount for plays that can be controlled.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.
