UNI has won 5 in a row and can still climb higher. Big game as a top 2 finish is not out of the question.

All of a sudden, UNI finds themselves on the verge of bubble talk. They need this win and many more to keep things going. They have the schedule to win out and give themselves a chance in STL to get on the bubble.

MSU needs this win bad to stay out of the play-in game in STL. Considering how the season started and who has played the bulk of the minutes in conference play, this would be a huge accomplishment. We put a pretty good nail into ISUb's at-large coffin and would like to see a final nail driven into UNI's at-large coffin.

Need a better game from Marcus then what he had in Carbondale. We stopped James for the most part in Iowa but couldn't keep him off the boards. Need to shoot better, obviously, and avoid the dreaded 2nd half starts that we have.

With all that said, I'll still give the edge to UNI: 52-47

UNI has no at-large chances. NONE. They may be a team that gets brought up by talking heads because of the "no bad losses, challenging SOS argument" but will most surely be put on the outside looking in because they also have NO GOOD WINS out of conference and a mediocre road/neutral W/L record.

UNI needs this win to keep themselves in contention for an NIT at-large and to continue a strong finish.

However, we were able to witness the huge disparity in pure athletic ability between the two teams in Cedar Falls and there is no doubt that Missouri State SHOULD win this game handily at home after coming just short against a much more veteran team on the road.

UNI has played itself back onto the bubble before, but this is not one of those years. There is a big difference between the 2 seed and the 3 or 4 seed in St. Louis, and that has to be a big motivating factor for the Panthers.

We started off 0-6 from 3, but have since hit 5 of 7.
