Redbirds at Aces

Looks like the Birds are a 1 point favorite in Vegas.

In most probable scenarios Evansville needs to win at least one game to finish 6th or better, and this would be a good choice due to the current tie for 5th in the standings for these two.

Huge game for Thursday night implications. If ISU wins, they are in the drivers seat for 5th, as we would hold the tiebreaker over the Aces (sweep) and BU (non-SOS). Of course for a 3 way tie, I know it works differently but I still think we'd be good... We'll see how they bounce back from Sunday

As a Bradley Fan, I absolutely hate that I have to root for ISU tonight, but that gives Bradley the best chance of getting out of Thursday because of the "Jank" tiebreaker rule.

Moving on after the travesty on Sunday. Focus now has to be to stay out of the play in games in St Louis.

This a huge game for me, as a Redbird fan. If we win, it shows resiliency. If we lose, I have very little faith in them the rest of the season and.

So Cali,if your Redbirds win 69-68 they are resilient.

If your Redbirds lose 69-68 they are not resilient, right?

Yes. No offense, but on paper (and I know how ridiculous that argument is) we are a much better team than our record indicates. We have had amazing moments (win at Creighton, near loss to Louisville, etc) that indicate the potential of this group. However, it wasn't until just recently that I started to feel like Muller's influence was starting to take it's place. Anything other than a solid win at E'Ville is a disappointment, to me anyway.

Your Redbirds are a much better team than their record shows. I think they are a resilient bunch and regardless of the outcome tonight, should be feared in the MVC tournament. Any team that starts off 0-6 and pulls off multiple victories and plays the better teams close is a team that is clicking. May you lose tonight by 1 point ;)

I personally expect this game to be similar to the last 5-6 games these teams have played. I expect it to be close throughout and the team that makes more plays in the last 3-4 minutes is going to win. I have my lucky underwear on today, so I expect it will be the Aces coming out on top.
