He is quickly approaching classless Gregg status. Maybe he will learn to clean up the technicals like Gregg did after his first year.

Haha. Two technicals definitely puts him up there with the trashiest people on earth.

Because that's what I said.

Marshall's technicals is what helped give him a reputation as a crybaby and a whiner. How does it feel to have your own crybaby?

Tweet from Jonathan Lintner, Evansville Courier and Press

Illinois State coach Dan Muller finishes his press conference with, "Sorry to waste your night -- unless you're an Evansville fan."

It isn't often I actually laugh at coaches' comments not coming from the mouth of Barry Hinson. Good work coach Muller.

This must be that vaunted emotional maturity I keep hearing about.

Great game for the Aces. Amazing game for Colt.

Impressive win by the Aces, congrats! They're back in the game in St. Lou. Looks like the Birds are reeling a bit now, seem to be in danger of an untimely fall into an emotional rut.

It's a wonder certain fan bases develop a reputation for no class when a few knuckleheads insist on coming onto a thread not involving their team just to talk trash and pile on the losing team. It's not just a matter of being hated for being good, it's just as much for being poor winners.

Marty might not be able to recruit kids to Evansville with any consistency, but that guy can coach his arse off..and then back on, apparently (what happened to lean Marty?).

The Aces are going to be a tough out at Arch Madness.

That was probably the most complete game we played in conference, possibly the game against WSU. I have to say how impressed I've been with Egidius and Wing. I think Egidius is going to be an absolute stud in years to come. The last two games he's either outplayed or played even with Echenique and Carmichael. To think he couldn't go one minute without fouling to start the year. And lastly, Colt is an absolute beast.....gawd I'm gonna miss him.

Very true, sir.

I implore my fellow Wichita State fans: Please, in this time of Illinois State's crisis, find it within yourselves to treat them with the respect and decency that fans of other teams within our illustrious conference have shown to our own game threads following losses.

For reference sake, I will include the links to our last two gamethreads with losses (I don't believe there was a thread for the SIU game, just the reaction to it):

It, of course, was not an ISU fan who came into a thread about WSU losing to Indiana State and posted:

jwa123 wrote:I think I am confused. How are these schools beating WSU? None of them have the money to put into their bball programs like WSU. ISUb in particular is but a poor pauper compared to the gold bar largesse that WSU has commanded from it's faithful. This is hard to comprehend.

I'd call you poor winners, but I guess you'd have to win for that.
