If NDSU ever joins this conference I hope WSU leaves. What bubble teams are you talking about? I would say WSU and Creighton are in pretty easily at this point and Indiana St doesn't have much of a shot except winning in St. Lou.

So we wouldn't have to travel to Canada...Northern Iowa is close enough. If you think football is going to overtake the MVC...you don't know this conference very well. Take a look at the football forum when football is in season and take a look at the basketball forum at the same time.

Our basketball team charters to every game except Missouri St I believe. Football is not going to keep this conference thriving. Schools who don't invest in a football team and invest in all the other sports is what is going to keep this conference thriving. The two top schools don't field a football team. Do you think that is a coincidence?

For the first: How does UNI have more NCAA success than WSU? Both have one Sweet 16 run and no other tournament wins in past 10 years.

For the second: Well, there's a correlation between fielding a football team and funding a basketball team adequately. Whether funding the basketball team equates to basketball success is another matter
