Shox sh*t down their legs. Evansville took advantage and couldn't miss. Ryan was a machine. Despite Ryan going off, WSU had multiple chances to tie or take the lead but were content with throwing balls into the 2nd rows of Koch Arena.

Evansville swept us. That is a hard pill to swallow.

What does everyone think about Colt Ryan getting scolded by the refs for flopping in front of Orupke at midcourt trying game the officials into calling a foul? I saw that at the YMCA last weekend, but have never seen it in a D-1 game, or even a high school game for that matter.

CAN NOT WAIT FOR RYAN TO BE GONE!!! Kid is a machine, everytime he put up a shot my head went in to my hands. . . Evansville brought it in the first half and when WSU made a run in the 2nd half i thought we were gonna pull away and end up a with a pretty decent victory. Unfortunately it was not to be. Congrats on a good win Evansville, i don't like losing this much at home in conference season, or ever!

Everyone probably thinks you sound a little whiny.

I probably have been more complementary toward Ryan than any other non-UE fan. I'm a big believer in him after he dropped 40-something on the Jays in Omaha last year. He is the kind of player every team in the country could use and Marty does a good job constructing an offense to give him good looks. I was really pleased the way Creighton defended him last game and held him to a horrible night shooting from the floor. He's a bit sneaky and absolutely relentless.

I think UE's defense pushes the rules a bit, but Colt Ryan is the real deal.

How was that a bad play by Colt Ryan? His team needed points and a big guy is sprinting down the floor. It was a high IQ play. As far as the refs talking to Colt; I'm pretty sure that was about the play before.

I understand I probably am a bit biased but sheesh.

I hate playing against Colt Ryan more than any other MVC player in recent memory. That is my ultimate respect for him. He isn't the best player we've played against, but he one the best players in the NCAA at sneaking in points, exploiting weaknesses, and making clutch shots.

You can defend him great for 34 seconds and get burned in the last second time and time again, and he will do things like run under centers and draw fouls that require a very high BBIQ. He is horrible to play against, and if Evansville had more around him he could make them one of the absolute worst early tournament match-ups for most teams.
