I was just speaking my mind, and I even said I understand why people are talking about it, so of course it's not all about me. I just kinda said it in a way that you can take wrong. I actually am interested in this discussion also, I just said something the wrong way. What my point really was is that I'm going to enjoy the rest of this season before worrying about what happens in this conference realignment. My apologies, I was a little drunk at the time and speaking on emotion, which is something you can't do on this board without getting every word you speak picked apart. But yes, I agree that the way my words came out was pretty dumb.

They shouldnt be different YOU are losing Creighton a non football school. If evansville/drake leave, that's 3 football schools gone. Add NDSU SDSU and voila the conferences come together.

The thing is my Illinois State is looking at making a move to the FBS level, if I'am not mistaken UNI is looking at that as well, throw in NDSU, and a Youngstown with Tulsa is already being there, and walla.

You CAN'T CREATE A CONFERENCE....NOR CAN A CONFERENCE MOVE UP AS A WHOLE.... LITERALLY NOTHING LAKES HAS SAID MAKES SENSE....OR IS EVEN POSSIBLE.

If the schools want to move up, that's great. It's going to have to be individually.

There isn't an FBS conference that is going to take UNI, ISUR, YSU, and NDSU as a package....

There isn't a cofnerence that is going to take more than 2 FCS teams....

Hell, I bet there isn't a conference that takes 2 of them. The best bet for both ISUr and UNI is to try to get one to take 2 of us...and hope it's the MAC.



No FBS conference wan'ts any part of going to Fargo.


For the MVC, UNI is the closest team to NDSU, and that distance is still more than that of UNI's longest trip, sans Evansville, WSU, and MSU.....all of which are less than 100 miles further than Fargo. All of them already in the conference and have been for a long time.

That's for UNI.

You can double to triple those for the MAC, at least triple for CUSA, WAC, and MWC
