The bitter-sweet irony of it all to probalby most CU fans is that the biggest performances by CU on the national stage since Florida ten years ago is that it could be the game that puts to rest any doubts by the Georgetown's, villanova's, etc., about inviting CU to the new Big East; and the game that puts to rest any doubts in Doug's head about going pro.

I wish I coulda been there. Supposedly right after the starting lineups and when wichita went into their last huddle before tip-off, the PA played a little sound clip from the Wizard of Ozz , when Dorothy said to her dog "i dont think were in kansas anymore" in a frightened voice and the crowd erupted. I have a ? for any Jays fans at the game. Is this true and did it really get that loud? Im jealous i couldnt be there but i guess the pregame was pretty cool.

I know Marshall said it was louder than he had ever heard it there. Said it was the only time there he remembers having a hard time hearing his players or talking to them. I guess the plea to make it not a library atmosphere worked. Kudos.
