agree about switching Hall/Early, although Hall is probably penalized for missing games. Hall is definitely more valuable to the team and plays his ass off on every possession. Early has a tendancy to either have a great game or be a non-factor.

I think Early is a better scorer, but Hall is the better player right now. Not only does his attitude represent and define this Wichita State team, I think he has been far more consistent in the games that he has played. His effort on both end of the courts overcomes the natural talent of Early, who had a tendency to disappear and was never the defensive force that Hall was.

Are these the official winners? And I agree about switching Hall and Early.

No Koch, Tuttle, or Sonnen on ANY sort of team or honors list is ridiculous.

With Hall missing some MVC games it's probably right the way it is but if it were me I would switch Hall and Early on the first and second teams. Whenever I watch WSU Hall plays his ass off whereas sometimes I don't even notice Early is on the court.

Admittedly this is somewhat clouded by their games against Creighton though. Early had 2 rebounds total in the 2 games against Creighton and averaged 12 points. Hall was darn good in Omaha and awesome in the game in Wichita. I was obviously very interested in the WSU-ISU game in Normal at the end of the season too and once again Early was a non-factor for much of that game until the huge shot at the end.

So although Early is obviously capable of a much more explosive offensive game I just really like the way Hall plays.

also, lets say Doug stays and CU ends up playing in the Missouri Valley next year (probably the unlikeliest combination of those two scenarios). Has anybody ever won 3 consecutive player of the year awards before?

He started over 25% of wsu's games and wasn't eligible
