Good point. Maybe I under-estimate the rest of the team. It's just my opinion, I have nothing against Evansville, I just think there are 5 other teams that would win it before Evansville would.

Fair assessment. I understand. Your basketball logic makes sense.

Evansville is good enough to beat Creighton in a single game but I don"t think they have it in them to have 3 big games in a row. UNI, ILState, CU and WSU are probably the only teams deep enough to win this thing.

anything can happen. ue could win the whole thing. i think any team that starts on friday could win it. i think what some are saying is that the odds of ue beating possibly cu and wsu back to back is somewhat unlikely (that is how i am reading it anyway). they could just as easily get beaten by the sycs friday. can't quite see why some are being defensive about it.

I would love to see Barry stick it to MSU.

Other than that I would love to see the Panthers win it all, but I think the 3 seed gives us the toughest route to get there.

I have a feeling it will be the Shockers.

I am going to conspiracy theory here and say that if Creighton does announce they are gone today, there is no way Elgin wants them on CBS on Sunday...

The irony that Elgin would try to keep Creighton from getting something ;)
[Insert snappy comeback]
