Still haven't figured out the zone. That is all on Marshall. No progress in that all year

Honest question about this...Is it Marshall's fault for not figuring it out or is it the players who can't get the execution down?

Muller has been criticized for some issues when I think the players don't have the ability to execute what he wants.

Just curious to your thoughts on that.

I guess it could be players. But there is some decent, although not great, IQ on the team. And when even the seniors look lost I think it is on coach. I guess if we had better shooters it wouldn't be a problem. However, most of the time they don't even get a good shot against a zone. I still say coach takes most of blame

Gotcha. I know the IQ on that team isn't the issue. Just wasn't sure if penetrating was a problem or if consistent shooting is it or what.

Since WSU doesn't have good shooters they need to attack the zone. Something they haven't improved on all year. So with no improvement I think it is mostly coaching. Although lack of execution is on players.

Agree, still learning to be a D-1 player. Apparently has some GI issue today, but still more inconsistent than he should be, but what a talent. Next year will be a stud bucket deluxe X 2.
