I'm pretty sure the game was kept on cbs everywhere. As i'm not in kansas or nebraska and they kept it on our game until the final buzzer. I agree that clearly the better team won, the refs were trying to help Wichita as much as they could and yet Creighton still wins with possibly Doug's worst game of the year. Congrats Wichita for a tough team, but Creighton is just too good for you.

I have to disagree on the refs. There were a few plays there were Ech practically committed enough fouls to foul out before the refs finally blew a whistle. In the end, the refs probably did a decent job, missing calls both ways.

Congratulations to Creighton. You played some pretty good defense today.

I'm glad how the Shocks fought back. It really sucks that they blew their chance to finally win Arch Madness before CU hightails it out of here.

WSU started 4 seniors today. All year, we've heard about how much they had to replace, but they actually had more stating seniors than Creighton.

And all year we had to hear about how this was the best Creighton team in history, how they were going to cakewalk their way to an 18-0 season, etc.

3 starters down, 2 starters out for nearly the entire Valley season, lost by a game in the regular season and a trey in tourney final. Could have been different. I'll take it.

You still lost though, what does it matter.

Creighton won BOTH the Regular Season and Tourney Title.....LIKE THEY WERE EXPECTED TO.

I would say that equates to the best Creighton team in history.

Congrats Shox on your moral victories. Jays take home the hardware, again!

If it wasn't for our apathetic defense in the 2nd half that let your wide open HORSE junk go off, it would have been a different outcome.

I wasn't complaining. Just saying the refs helped you, we touch you and they call a foul, yet you guys were allowed to have way more contact than us and they let it go. It's not a complaint just an observation. We won anyways so theres nothing for me to complain about.

That was great team offense that got us open, but if you want to bash your own team after they played their asses off, then maybe you should put on a shocker uniform and try it yourself. Wow show some respect for your players, they played hard and played good, they were just outmatched. And Creighton missed a bunch of easy shots they normally make, you guys are the wons that had junk HORSE shots go in all game. If it wasn't for Malcom's HORSE shots that he made all game it wouldn't have been close. We just out-toughed a tough team. Echenique was a beast and half the points yall scored inside were on offensive elbows that they called defensive fouls on. Doug played hard, but had his worst game of the year, and the refs called some terrible fouls on him, yet we still won. I guess a bunch of white boys with no athleticism aren't too bad after all. Maybe they're just tougher than WSU?

the teams are very evenly matched. seriously, great season and effort today in the last 5 minutes, although I dodn't even get to see it b/c cbs blows, over achieved vs. expectations and could do some damage in the dance, good luck.

Congrats and condolences to WSU on a great season, a good game, and a helluva comeback. Am really glad the game didn't go to OT, b/c the Jays would have lost.

Fair enough. And my statement on SHOX going further was probably a step over. Just a tough loss, emotions are high. Hope both teams represent well in the tourney. It's all about matchup s anyway. Good luck

Shox fans and their moral victories are about as funny as it gets. You finished 2nd. You know what they say "If you ain't first, YOU'RE LAST." Who cares if you played respectable ball due to all your injuries. You still lost.

We will enjoy our hardware, at least we have some.

The refs were very consistent all game, no team benefited more than the other.

Wichita State is going to due some damage in the Big Dance, that much I know.
