Last 4 in are mid majors. BCS teams left out. Ignoring the first four games (4 mid majors), no at-large mid major teams are playing each other.

If anyone complains about a mid-major bias from the committee this year, I might actually ban them on sight.

I wish you could ban Jay Bilas from my TV. Does he ever not whine about the brackets and mid-major teams?

I really like that the committe made a statement about non-conference schedules with tehe teams left out. I was going to question why no Major teams were sent to Dayton, but I think the committee got it right on these. They have sent Majors there before, but I don't think any were 'deserving' of getting in and getting sent there this year.

I consider the VCU-Akron game, New Mexico St-St. Louis, and the Butler-Bucknell game matchups of "mid majors"

They are matchups of teams not in BCS conferences

Yeah, but those are 3 auto bid teams, not at-larges. Akron, NMSU, and Bucknell aren't getting at-larges, so I don't count them as much. Besides, Akron and Bucknell actually got generous seeds.

Creighton was one spot away from a SIX seed.

Wichita was a true 9.

Let's compare S-Curves. NCAA has their 1-68, I have my 1-68.

On average, for each and every team, I was an average of 2.47 positions off of the committee's rankings.

If you remove the two outliers, San Diego St, and Oregon, I was under 2.00 on the other 66 teams. Which means on average, I was within 2 spots of their actual ranking.

The best part was the top 4 lines. I missed pegging the exact order of the top 16 by 11 total spots in the rankings.

I can run the comparison for other bracketologists if I can find their S-Curve.
