Question for CU fans:

Which scenario would you pick?

1) CU makes it to the S16 and Doug leaves for the NBA.

2) CU makes it to the 2nd round and Doug stays for his Senior season.

That is a very tough question but I would probably pick number one simply because beating Duke to advance into the next round would be awesome.

C....CU makes it to the S16 and Doug stays. :buddies:

But honestly....I guess 1 but if they do that they better not stop at the S16.

I only ask because I think the S16 is probably the exposure threshold needed to push Doug over the edge and declare for the draft. If Doug plays well and CU beats Duke, he will lock up a first round pick IMO.

26- I agree, but I also thought the same thing when UNI beat Kansas only to be disappointed when we lost to MSU the next round. The bottom line is just about every team in the tournament is very good and has the potential to win games against quality competition.

Wow, great question.

I think we'd all prefer #1, but if those are the two choices, it would be hard to say we lose either way.

I'll tell you what I would do if I was Doug McDermott. I would, no matter what the result, come back for my senior year. I would work with good NBA coaching as well as a tremendous strength coach over the summer. I would also load up on HGH and beef my body into NBA strength. I would then come out and make the Big East my bitch and go in the top 5 of the draft next year.
