According to this link, the game at UNI only drew 4215. That seems pretty far from a "near sell out crowd."

Look back at previous years - when tickets weren't the most expensive ticket of the season...litterally.

The game featured a struggling UNI team and a Drake team that was/is terrible.

Way to ignore the entire premise of what I'm saying - not shocked you chimed in by the way....hopefully the Creighton jackasses take off after tomorrow.

A normal ticket price for a UNI game is $17...at $17 a pop we would have had 6K for the game. Sadly the athletic department tried something this year with premium games, and it failed for that one. Still made more money for that than game than we would have having 6K at $17 a head by about $24k

we've already been there and I don't think the administration and boosters would allow it to happen again. We may have a one or two year blip, but if/when GG leaves, we'll find another great coach and pay the money to get him.

Tickets were $30 for this game. A normal ticket price of $15-$20 would have put another 2K in the seats.

Our regular season tickets are already $27.00 and probably going up again.

UE will be young, fast, and will have good shooters.....we will fight and scrap as we always have, and we are going to be right there in the mix.....it seems to be par for the course for the Aces to be dismissed, and that's okay by me...but the Purple Aces are going to be continuing the climb upward. We will have to do it without Colt, but he has done a lot to inspire the underclassmen and new recruits. As far as I am concerned, a rival that I would like to conquer is ISUB.

Well u went 10-9 in conf games and lose a guy who averaged almost 24 points a game in conf. I watched him single handily win in Wichita. Excuse me if I will take the wait and see approach. I'm sure u will take offense to this but u asked so I'm telling why I'm "dismissing" them.

Congrats on the win last night

What happened to Missouri State/Wichita State?

That was THE rivalry even 4-5 years ago.

What exactly did the little general do to make you so confident? lol

The only Little General is Steve Merfeld.

Cuonzo went to Tennessee and your program regressed. The schools aren't close enough for a good rivalry unless both schools are doing well.

But Creighton IS close? Pretty sure MSU is closer than CU.

And, our program regressed? Sure. That's what happens when you have to rebuild. But we won the league just two years ago lol. It's not like it's been 20 years.
