Still pulling for the Shockers, as I will continue to do so for all MVC teams in the future - other than against CU. Hope Carl Hall takes down Olinyk (sp?), Armstead et all show the Zags what pressure defense is.

This is gonna be a fun game. The Zags are a team that is very good but not getting much respect from the media.

Before the tourney started, I liked our chances against the Zags. But I was thinking they would blow out their first round opponent and not be as locked in against WSU. So much for that. The Zags are gonna give WSU their best shot and WSU is gonna give the Zags their best shot.

It's gonna be a war.

WSU sure is getting respect now. Vitale is picking them over the Zags. And every analysis I 've heard is predicting a tough game.

Vitale was one of the only pundits to pick WSU over Pitt also. Lets hope he is right again. It's a combination of respect for WSU and the fact that many of them consider Gonzaga to be a "weak one seed".

Gonzaga reminds me of Creighton, only better. Wichita State lost two of three to CU and could have been swept. I'm not sure if beating Pitt really counts as much of an accomplishment to where people are expecting an upset. I'd love to see the Shockers win, but I wouldn't bet on it.

If Armstead, Early, and Hall have good offensive games, or two out of the three have really good offensive games, I like the Shockers for the victory!

Shox looking good. Its a great sign that Armstead and Early are hitting shots. This wouldn't be close if not for Zags offensive rebounding.
