Heck of an effort. Speaks highly of the Shockers to absorb that 2nd half run and battle back. Also says a lot about this league where WSU was tested, winning some close game and losing a couple as well but they embraced the close game, it was just another night on the floor for them. It's been a while since Gonzaga had been in that situation, factor in the pressure of being a criticized #1 and it showed at times.

Break out the home whites, enjoy the trip out to the city of Angels. 16 of 340+ teams would love to be where you guys are, enjoy it. No matter how strong the program is, there are no guarantees in this business. I can remember growing up as a kid watching Evansville play in multiple NCAA Tournaments and thinking it would always be that way. I was proven wrong. Enjoy this experience, it's been a hell of a year for you guys already, enjoy the ride and keep that Valley flag flying high.
