ORU has barely 3,000 students, was near insolvency for many years, shut down its law school in the 1980s because it could never get fully accredited, and had a requirement that skirts/dresses had to be ankle-length until the NINETIES. Anyone wanting to add that stigamtized piece of s*** is an absolute idiot.

Scott Sutton is a great coach. Playing fourth fiddle in TULSA behind OU, OSU and TU makes this a dumpster fire of a choice though. I will be livid as hell if they get an invite in spite of their proximity to Wichita.

Lol Casey is notorious for misinformation. The tweet basically just says his desire for ORU to pursue membership and the leadership not being proactive. Sure seems more likely than ORU "shooting down" the Valley. Can't believe anything from Casey

Look pal I didn't remember it as vividly as I initially thought. It wasn't misinformation. I just recalled something along the lines of ORU not going to the Valley. And something Sittler had stated. It would make my day if a. Sittler is wrong or b. ORU administration actively seeks out Valley and Elgin and the Presidents invite them.

The MVC is not a good fit for ORU. For one they are too far away, regardless that Tulsa was once a member. Their athletics are not on the same level as the rest of the Valley, and the school's mission is so far removed from anything even remotely fitting to the other nine schools.

Denver is also very far away and therefor does not seem like a good fit.

Since they most likely will replace Creighton with a private school Belmont does seem like the most likely school, although it is still kind of far, and still leaves Wichita State out by itself.

I would prefer Valparaiso but that doesn't seem likely, and SLU as a pipe dream although they would be a great fit.
