Obviously a lot bigger things currently going on in the Valley but a Valley rematch in the quarter finals of the CIT Tuesday in Cedar Falls at 7.

The line is UNI -11 in this quarterfinal matchup. UNI leading the series this year 2-0 with a 31 point clobbering at Cedar Falls in January and a 3 point win in Peoria.

Tied at 40 at half. Walt Lemon Jr. shooting lights out and with 17 pts already. Tuttle with 10 and 3 Panthers (Koch, Mitchell and Sonnen) with 8. It'll be fun to see this 2nd half play out. Why this isn't just named the championship right now baffles me

Honestly UNI fans....how were you guys not better this season?

I know you look like the 96 Bulls against Bradley but seriously?

Two good, quick guards. Shooters on the wings. Good big men inside? What's the deal?

I honestly think Jacobsen does the team a disservice by playing so slow.

The talent level was there this season.

Execution when it mattered. What you saw tonight is not what we Panther fans saw in the games that we needed it. That team that played Bradley tonight may have been in the tournament if they had come to play like that in another 4 or 5 games.

Why did Geno concede the game with 2 minutes left down 12? With the way Lemon, Egolf, and DSE can light it up I would not have expected him to start putting all the subs in.

And I agree with the other UNI fan who said this is not the same team that shows up every game. For whatever reason we just play well against Bradley. Sadly Bradley loses a lot of scoring. I hope the young guys have some good youngsters.
