I can't say that I expect the Shox to win, but I do feel they certainly have a chance to win. At this stage of the season, nothing is certain and "having a chance" is about the best possible scenario.

Armstead gets Craft and Cotton gets Thomas. Cotton has D'd McDermott, Brown, and Simons. Nobody has ever scored when they aren't touching the ball. Cotton is one of the best at denying a pass to the guy he's guarding.

Very nervous for this game. I think i read somewhere where they have like 6 or so players that are all over 6'7. We've made it this far so we can win this game but it will take probably our best game, D will have to be spectacular again and we'll need some shots to fall, can't have a 30 something percent night shooting. But as i've done for every game so far i'm going to predict that we pull it out, 68-64.

I honestly think we have a very good shot in this game.

Ohio State is an excellent team, but I've been very confident so far for one simple reason: These teams aren't playing zone defense against us. Any team that is going to play man against us has me excited.

Not guaranteeing we're going to win by any means, but I think we have a great shot here. I would absolutely not think we had a very good shot if this was Syracuse in front of us.

Let's just not give them a chance to win it with the last shot.

I think OSU may be tired. I like the Shox chances here. Congrats either way on a fantastic run! I will say it here.... GO Shox!

I think it will be interesting to see who Cotton guards. I think Baker is a pretty good defender too and could see some time guarding Craft.

Shox need Early to step up and play tough (and stay out of foul trouble) too.

WOW! High praise indeed. I have to disagree, but nonetheless they are a very good defensive team. Creighton put up 90 + on em, and even the other two games at least put up upper 60's, I thought Cincinnati was the best defensive team we have played, but WSU has a better offense.

Baker has a very fresh set of legs. Hall's season ws 7 games shorter than everybody else's. WSU has been playing everybody but the baall boys, so the Shox may be the fresher team, and that can be a factor this late in the season.

Demetric Williams and Jake White are beat up. Williams ices his left knee, his left hip is still recovering from a nasty bruise a couple weeks ago, and his surgically repaired left ankle is gimpy. White wears a boot on one foot between games.

OSU fans report their big guys are not real skilled offensively and the team plays better with their small lineup. Thomas is essentially a 6'7" SG. He can hit from deep, can drive to the hoop, and seems to have the coordination and speed you'd expect from a 6'2" guy.

It's going to take a good to great game in every aspect for the Shox to pull this one out, but the same can be said for OSU.
