My least favorite coach in the country. I didn't mind him as a player. I hated him at MO State and Iowa. I have been able to ignore him at New Mexico. Except when laughing at him losing in the tourney. Seems unbelievably egotistical to me.

Agree with the egotistical part. When he was our coach his press conferences and post game interviews used to really grate on a lot of Bears fans. He always talked more about himself than his players. It was quite a contrast to our prior coach (Spoon) .

But he was smart, a good recruiter, and got a lot out of his players. And there's no questioning he did a good job at NM. Will be interesting to see how he does at UCLA.

I'm glad. I wasn't overly concerned about UCLA, but that's at least a major program. I would imagine Marshall would have to think hard about taking it.

They've also mentioned him in regards to Minnesota, which is freaking hysterical.

Personally, I think Marshall, if he were to leave, would want a major Carolina job. And I don't really know that a Duke or UNC job is ever going to open up outside of that program's circle. I believe he turned down NC State and USCe, so that pretty much eliminates the second tier Carolina jobs.
