Final Four - Wichita State vs Louisville/Duke

Louisville would present a greater challenge in my opinion. However, the way they are playing, the Shockers can beat either team.

If I'm not mistaken, the MVC is 0-3 against Louisville/Duke this year?

I feel like the Valley had a good shot at winning all those games though.

Wichita last went to the final four in 1965 and played UCLA. Drake played UCLA in 1969 in the final four.
Indiana State played in the national finals in 1979. Any other MVC teams?

I agree about Louisville/Duke. I'd rather play Duke in this matchup.

Bradley has a couple of final fours…NIT Championshiop when it was a REALLY big deal?

Bradley, Per Wiki:

Lost to the Legendary (and paid) players of CCNY in 1950 NCAA Championship (and NIT???)
1954, lost to LaSalle in Championship.

NIT Championship: 57, 60, 64, 82.

EASILY the most storied program still in the MVC. I consider WSU fortunate to join Bradley as the only current Valley team to make TWO final fours!

Go Valley! Go Shocks!

Bradley has a great history and I think they're the sleeping giant in the Valley that's just waiting to wake up. I think Ford will wake them up. Everything is looking like it's going in the right direction for the Braves.

I think BU could become the replacement for CU as one of the top Valley teams. Then any team that's added only has to do what BU has done in their down years to maintain the Valley's overall level of play.

I agree 100%! The right coach with a break or two and Bradley is a big time player on the national stage ala Butler / VCU.

Stop this crap. Far as I know, Bradley's main claim to fame is Chet "The Jet" Walker. Phe-nomenal player.
80 years old.

I'm not interested in MAINTAINING the Valley's overall level of play.

Maintaining is status quo. This is not a time for status quo thinking.
