MVC #8 in Conference RPI

The postseason success by league members has pushed the MVC ahead of the SEC for the #8 spot in Conference RPI per http://warrennolan.com/basketball/2013/conferencerpi

Pretty impressive considering the league had a mostly so-so year in the non-conference. We were much, much closer to #10 WCC for the last three months, but we just recently leapfrogged the SEC and today's Florida loss clinches that spot for us (I believe the most the RPI can drop from here is about .0010, we lead them by .0012).

No trophies awarded for this, but a nice accomplishment nonetheless. Hopefully the league can continue its upward trend next year.

Sorry, but I cannot imagine a scenario where we are better next year.

The SEC was much worse than anyone realized this year.

I usually throw out any RPI rankings after the regular season ends because there can be drastic movement based on luck of the draw, so we're still 9th in my mind. But it never hurts.
