Big XII/Valley Double Header in Kansas City...lets hope

It will most likely be Iowa St/UNI & Kstate/Wichita St. I just hope MSU is one of the teams since I live in KC. Kstate and Iowa state already play football at arrowhead trying to get more exposure in KC so I think those are the teams most likely to be involved. KU already plays a lot of games at the sprint center and can schedule anybody they want and they will NEVER agree to playing a MVC team if they think they have a chance of losing because that's how Bill Self schedules.

UNI is playing Iowa State in Des Moines next year. If it were the year after, it could make sense. It could be ISU/Drake, as the Bulldogs play the Hawkeyes in this year's "Big Four Classic."

Why one earth would this be "likely"? I don't see any chance of this happening personally.

Why are people putting Mizzou? Unless they are just dreaming. This is for a MVC vs Big 12 double header. Mizzou is not in the Big 12........

If I was truly dreaming I would have put us against Mizzou and Wichita against KU. I know we have talked to K State about a game and we have an obvious connection with them. I doubt KU plays Wichita and Mizzou would draw...really don't have a clue other than that.

Where did the idea of an MVC-Big 12 weekend come from? I don't see any way the Big 12 is going to force their schools to play MVC schools on a neutral court unless huge money Is involved. I can see where Elgin would want to publicize that he's trying to get this done but until the Big 12 comments that they are on board I think it's safe to assume that it ain't happening.

That is the scheduling coup of the year for MSU if true. I would also be very happy with a neutral court game against Mizzou for WSU.
