WSU you played your hearts out today and played very well! I really hated how the refs let the Louisville guys foul the crap out of the Wichita ball handlers when they were bringing the ball up. I see no reason why you can't make it back next year with a couple of juco studs at pf and back up pg. Congrats again for a great season and thank you for being the reason I watched so much of the tournament after Creighton got beat by Duke.

Amazing season Shockers!!

It was a disappointing way to lose, but can't forget how great the run was. Wichita proved they were easily one of the 4 best teams in the country tonight. Henderson was the difference with those two 3 pointers. And the stretch without Armstead on the court where they turned it over 3 times in 57 seconds didn't help much either.

Great season and way to represent the Valley!!

The shox could of won the championship, they could of easily won this game, (took foot off the gas for a bit, jump ball??, armstead didnt play well at all, etc.) and I believe the winner of this game would of won it all.

I agree, this is a team and program right now with Marshall as the coach, that replaces its losses. Losing Hall and Armstead will be TOUGH. But Baker and Van Fleet are one hell of a future backcourt!! I think the shox just need one good solid player on the block to somewhat replace Hall and they could possibly be here in the Final 4 again. But that takes a lot of luck too, u can be a great team and not make the Final 4. It was special to get there this year, really love the fight and toughness of the shockers this year. God Bless.

Great game and great season for WSU. I'm really not sure the better team won tonight. Louisville just seemed to get the breaks (and calls) in the last 10 minutes.

Helluva run by the shox. You guys should be proud as hell about this season, runs like this don't come along every year.....enjoy the ride because it looks like you guys are going to be a nightmare to deal with for the foreseeable future.

Could have won this game, but didn't. There's not another team that Louisville has faced in this tournament that can say the same thing.

Maybe there were some questionable calls late in the game, but that's not what cost the Shox the game. The little run of TO's at about the 8 - 10 minute mark, followed by Louisville scoring off the TO's is where the game was lost. WSU had very few TO's compared to what other teams have done against Louisville, but a couple of them at a critical time hurt. That's how Louisville got to be the #1 seed in the Tourney.

About Armstead in this game. You've got to remember there's another team on the court that doesn't want your players to have a good game. Armstead didn't have a good game, but give Louisville some credit for that.

I agree, It looked like they put their best defender on him, he tried hard like always and I don't think he was terrible, he handled the ball well and played good defense. I was just remembering that play (which may have been the play of the game) where after a rebound he held it lazily under Louisvilles own basket and the guy from louisville came up and stole it from him (i think that led to the double foul call which gave Louisville the possession arrow for the later play). I could see the steal coming from a mile away, armstead just held the ball out away from his body for the guy to steal for like 3 seconds, and i was screaming to pull the ball in, and sure enough louisville came and took it from him.
