Mikyle McInstosh to ISUr??

Rumors on redbirdfan.net are that this 6'6" 230 lb monster from Canada is considering (strongly) Illinois State. He has evidently narrowed his choices down to UCLA, ISU and Miami (FL). His recruiting list on rivals > http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball ... ge_choices doesn't include ISU, but I've read a couple of news articles saying that those are his 3 choices. He played with Kaza Keane in HS and that is our big in with him. Has anyone heard anything about this guy? He seems like a monster and would be a GREAT get for ISU.

I've heard it's between ISU and Miami. What I know about him is that other Valley schools don't have a recruit with those kind of schools in their company (UCLA, UF, Miami FL).

Dan Muller is about to elevate Redbird Basketball if this comes to fruition, along with the guys already signed.

Agree, he would be a great recruit. However I think the thread title is misleading at this point.

Not sure but I heard he might be visiting Miami yesterday and this is what he tweeted...maybe he didn't like their offer?

There is a ruling that is being prolonged until June by the NCAA about Miami and improper benefits. Miami tried to lash out at the NCAA for its investigation and its turned into a mess. Not knowing if something will come of the investigation or possible consequences would seem risky if you were looking at the school. That's what I think MiKyle's tweet is referencing...
