Potential BU Recruit - Ahmad Starks - OSU Transfer

If you believe the rumors and the story that finally came out today Bradley is in the running for Oregon State transfer Ahmad Starks. Starks will be a senior and, due to a family illness, is looking to transfer closer to his home and he would have immediate eligibility. He is originally from Chicago.

Starks is Oregon State's all-time leading three-point shooter. He averaged 12.1 ppg as a sophomore and 10.4 ppg as a junior. He is a very good three-point shooter with good range. Small, 5-9, and likes to shoot.

He is supposedly considering Bradley and Illinois. I think Bradley would be second right now but he is close to BU assistant coach Chin Coleman who coached him in AAU in Chicago for Mac Irvin Fire.

He would be a pretty significant late addition for the Braves if it came to fruition.

Thanks for the luck but I think , Geno and Chin close this one down just wish he had more than one yr!

Also now we have , Omari , and if we get Starks , the best shooting COMBO IMO to be at bradley for awhile

Updated article from ESPN Chicago. It is between Illinois and Bradley. I would expect to know by this time next week where Starks ends up.

Starks is headed to Illinois...

A source with ties to the Bradley coaching staff thought Starks was headed to Peoria pre-Beaver release.
A starting line-up of Starks, Lemon, Swopshire, Delaney, Pickett... :shock:
