UNI and Creighton are working on a 10 year home and home that will start in Cedar Falls in 2014/15...

Rumor has it that it will be 4 games in CF, 4 in Omaha, 1 in Lincoln, and 1 in Cedar Rapids...

I don't buy it at all. Frankly, I doubt that Creighton would agree to a 10 year deal with a BCS school like Iowa or Iowa St, let alone UNI. Ten years is a LONG time and a lot can happen in that period. The discussion of a game in Lincoln seemingly makes it even less likely IMO. That arena is smaller than the Clink -- why give up the extra revenue to play UNI??? Besides, I'd bet there are more UNI alums in Omaha anyway. In fact, there are probably more in Omaha than there are in Cedar-whatever. (the guy that has season tickets next to me is a UNI alum, yet roots for Creighton...)

I wouldn't rule out a series down the road as Creighton may want to keep a presence in Iowa for recruiting purposes, but I'd be willing to bet a lot of money that it won't be ten years in duration if it even happens at all.

Are you sure that your AD wasn't talking about a VOLLEYBALL series? That I could see and would support completely.

You guys don't even have baseball or soccer, so I'm not really sure that the tough talk is really that big of a deal to most Creighton fans, outside of perhaps volleyball people. I suppose UNI fans probably eat it up though.

Iowa, Iowa State, heck why stop there? Since all BCS conf schools are salivating at the opportunity to play in Omaha, Nebraska you may as well sign some home/home's with Duke and Kentucky, you have to strike while the iron is hot.
