Some of these hype jobs actually come to fruition but most fail to pan out in year one, and sometimes never at all.

McIntosh has the right ranting, interest level, and lack of depth to be the obvious front runner for FOY.

I see Marcus and Walt Lemon as unique among Valley guards.Marcus is special.

Marshall is very good. He is not unique and you described Ron Baker with his talents.

Baker can not get his own shot..... He was the primary benefactor of the Carl Hall effect.

I disagree with this statement.

Christian Thomas. Unless Nick Osborne has a really big breakout year, Thomas will be Loyola's only individual hope to land on the All-MVC team. And I do think Thomas sneaks onto the second team.

Baker is quite capable of breaking down a defender on the dribble and hitting a 3 point jumper or 15 footer. I believe he showed that several times pre-conference and in the post season.

There was one play I specifically remember of Baker breaking a guys ankles, stepping back and draining a 3. Marshall doesn't recruit Ogirris.

What's the point of expanding when you're disagreeing with an absurd, trolling comment?

I remember Baker being really hard to guard without the ball.

Since we've established that we're all homers......let me throw out UE's two freshmen point guards as names to watch for FOY. Duane Gibson and Jaylon Brown, I'm going to tell you I haven't been this excited about a recruit since Colt. I think both of these kids have huge amounts of potential....Brown is an explosive athlete and Gibson seems to be the full package, ability to penetrate, pass, or score. I'm very excited about these two. Also, I think both Ballentine and Mockevicius could be dark horses for second team.
