GoRamblers wrote:No, your original post did not imply that. Nowhere was Kansas mentioned so for you to assume that it's understood is foolish. Further, nothing you've posted suggests that you think he will be a decent MVC player. Those may be things that you believe but you are terrible at conveying that.

I find it unlikely that you actually watched him play but I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Still, if you had, in fact, seen him play, I believe that you would come to the same conclusions as my original post.

1st paragraph: My Shocker friend above nailed it. I'm flabbergasted by your lack of reading comprehension skills. Did you go to Loyola? Because, if you did, in fact, go to school there, I'd be shocked.

2nd paragraph: Hoffman Estates Supersectional vs. North Chicago. He was a FIU commit at the time. Coach Thomas was actually in attendance. They lost, he scored 15 points and looked like a decent mid-major prospect. cpacmel was sitting right next to me watching former Redbird recruit Aaron Simpson. You reading this, buddy?

Woah, MY reading comprehension skills? Which of the two of us inserted unnecessary topics to this conversation? I can guarantee you that it WASN'T me.

Here's a little comprehension for you. When you respond to my post and say that he'd still be at Kansas if he was as good as everyone says...you are saying that he ISN'T as good as everyone says. You fail to grasp the fact that people transfer schools for any number of reasons and it isn't always because they can't cut it. Now, if you have some insight to the situation, I'd love to hear it.

But you don't.I'm going to leave it at that as I am coming dangerously close to insulting you. No point in crossing that line. But now I'm seeing what many people warned us about when we joined the MVC...

Passionate and knowledgable basketball fans?

We are all homers, and we rarely agree, but most are well educated on basketball.

That was the first part...I'll spare you the second part.

As you are a fairly new poster here, I will give you a pass on that statement. Once you've been here a little while, you will see that we just never, ever insult the fans of other schools here. That's just not allowed. It would interfere with our singing Kumbaya around the campfire.

And we keep the discussion strictly restricted to basketball during the offseason - and never let the discussions wander into opinions of other posters, because that's not basketball-related.

Look.

How dare your argument take us off the topic of the other argument.

Bingo.
I'm open to a friendly wager at this point.
This board is really missing a poster being constantly shamed for not fulfilling a bet.

I'm comfortable with my first team listed above. Also I like Arop and Thomas on the second team. After that it gets difficult. Here's my third team:

Gulley - MSU
Van Deest - Drake
Mitchell - UNI
Baker - WSU
Coleby - WSU (homer pick...I could be persuaded to take someone else here)

Fixed to remove my name from the words listed below. I did not write what was quoted above.
