If the Valley wants Saint Louis and Dayton, they'll be readily available.

I think everybody would win in that case.

What makes you so sure?

IF...and I mean IF....that is the case then please go to 12. I wouldn't think WSU could "rightfully" complain about adding east teams.

The Big East stopped at 10 because that's what they wanted. After a year or two of the home/home scheduling, there's very little chance (ok, none) of them bringing in teams to upset that. The A-10 is trying to run SLU and Dayton out with their additions as well, so it would make a lot of sense for the Midwest part of the A-10 to find a conference that won't bring in trash off the street because it's in the East. I lost all faith in the A-10 when it was mentioned that they're even considering Siena.

It only looks like the Big East stopped at 10 because they internally issued a gag order on the subject. Plus, they ran out of time to make moves for the '13-'14 season, so they can wait and take their time.

I still think they're headed to 12 soon. FOX will nudge them.

MVC is too late to act proactively on realignment. If they go to 12, it'll be in response to losing another member, IMO. They just have to wait out the A-10/Big East drama.

WSU would be ecstatic about adding eastern teams that better the basketball product of the conference.

Especially if it moved us closer to a TV deal that we weren't losing money on.

A) Last time I checked STL is WEST of 6 of the current Valley members so not sure how that is an eastern location

B) I doubt WSU would be anything but pleased with the addition of Saint Louis and Dayton.
