Never heard that one before. Very original.

As was said to your coaches and players last year, be careful what you wish for.
USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll Conference Breakdown:

MVC: 1
WCC: 1
Atlantic Ten: 1
MWC: 1
Big East: 1

The Big East is Big Time.

Ooh, ooh...I got one that will let us get back to the subject of the biggest surprise in the Valley next year.

Here goes:

Someone will actually use the word "game" to describe a meeting between WSU and ISURed after the "event" has been seen.

Do you have selective memory? Orupke delivered a pretty good open handed blow (looked like a karate chop to me?) In the tournament last year. Don't remember which tourney game but it happened. I'm not suggesting Orupke was a dirty player at all. He definitely wasn't - but neither was Jackie.

You'd have to show me some video evidence. I don't remember anything negative regarding the Shockers.

Sorry no video evidence that I know of. Like I said selective memory regarding your Shox. But it was a final four season so I can certainly understand.

Ehimen was whistled for an F1 after he turned and led with his forearm to check out Kelly Olynik.

It was the correct call. The Shocks still managed to make the Final Four as opposed to melting down and losing a game they had completely in hand.

Just sayin'.

My understanding is he will not be eligible since he did not finish prep school. He has the talent to be an All-Conference type. The past two years he has not demonstrated maturity at the same level as his talent. I think that maturity will need to improve before he sees the court.

My understanding is that it isn't that simple, and we should know before the Fall semester begins.

How can Hawkins be anything but a non-qualifier? He either had to go to a prep school and bring up his high school grades/test scores or he has to graduate from a juco. He quit the prep school and didn't finish it.
