Whoever wrote that article jumped the gun concerning T-Hawk's eligibility; still up in the air!

MVC rules make Hawkins in ineligible since he signed a letter intent previously with WSU.

On the topic...

Loyola.....They will either be much better than anticipated, or much worse (re:either 3-5 in finish or 10th by a large margin)

Benson from the Pantagraph just posted an article stating that Hawkins might not be eligible until the 2015-16 season (2+ years from now)

If would've been enforced if your coach wasn't BFFs with Greg McDermott.

I hope Marshall gives Muller the finger and then some.

Very interesting. I didn't realize he'd have to sit out two years, or that it would be up to WSU to waive that requirement.

Considering the wonderful relationship between the WSU and IlSU coaches lately, I'm sure that waiver should be incoming any minute now.

If that's true, and HCGM refuses to waive WSU's claim to Hawkins, I do not see him waiting at IlSU that long.

ISUR staff needs to place him in a juco immediately. He should have enrolled at one already. He'll be back in two years.

UNI didn't have the balls to say no to the MVC. I don't think WSU will have any problem saying "bite me" in a polite way. UNI should have at least required sCUm to give them a couple non-conference games for letting doogie play for daddy.
