Of course there's a chance. Not a great one, but there's a chance. There's a chance we go 0-18 as well, it's just an incredibly small chance ;)

I'm not sure we'll be favored over Indiana State on the road.

14-4, unless Evansville sweeps again then 13-5. I wish the season started next week, I'm ready.

Nope. every year a team surprises somebody, and its too difficult to win every game I predict they will go 13-5 or 14-4

Man, a lot of crap-talking on WSU and Marshall for a bunch of teams that are a combined 10-42 against them in the last 3 years, 8-38 minus Creighton.

Gun to my head and I'm taking 18-0 over 15-3. I have a feeling this will be a fun one to revisit next March. It's not like Marshall hasn't proved a bunch of MVC fans wrong before.

I think they'll go 16-2.

They probably have the talent to go 18-0. So I wouldn't be completely shocked but most likely they will drop at least a couple.

A lot of the same feelings I have about Johnny Manziel I have for the Shockers. Great talent. But I wonder about the focus once they've reached the pinnacle. Or the supposed pinnacle. Manziel didn't win the MNC and WSU didn't win the national title either. Regardless I am anxious to see how it all plays out.

I'm going 17-1 as my official prediction at the moment.

Shocking that you'd be the first with an irritated response.

I do think it's interesting people are pointing to last year rather than when we were 16-2 two seasons ago.

Anyone going to argue that the Valley is tougher than it was two seasons ago? That WSU is weaker?

I don't think we'll go undefeated, but, like last year, how we do in conference will largely depend on health.
