Keep in mind Kerwin Dunham is out. Anthony James would normally be coming off the bench. Pehl didn't do much offensively but held his own on the other end of the floor.

That said, I was never one to tout our "depth" this season. At least not after we found out Doug McDermott would not be a Panther.



After seeing McDermott a few times, he would have been the perfect player for UNI. I know it doesn't do you much good now, but Jake does a nice job finding kids to fit how he plays.

Doug seems like a really great kid, so you want to be happy for him. But yes, he's going to be "the one that got away" for the next 4 years... Especially if his dad ever figures out how to beat us. ;)

I don't know, but I heard he has plantar fasciitis in his right foot. Anyone who's ever been around that knows what a lingering injury it can be.

That is the same condition that has sidelined CU's Ethan Wragge early this season.
