It Seems That Everything Happening Involves IlSU

Muller has "indefinitely suspended" Daishon Knight. Knigh is a JuCo trfr who was expected to compete for the starting PG spot.

Knight got arrested for aggravated assault in a public place (Class 3 Felony) and resisting arrest.

The date of the incident was August 26. When one of the previous players was stopped for driving on a suspended license, and pot was found in the car, that player was dismissed within hours of the arrest.

When one of Muller's recruits commits a Class 3 felony, it's weeks later that anything happens and that player gets an indefinite suspension, which means that player stays in school, keeps his scholarship, and in all likelihood gets back on the team in time for practices, and gets his court date rolled until after the season is over.

Muller is developing quite a rousing reputation.

I can see why the majority of the Illinois State fanbase is what it is today.

I'll reserve judgment until I see what the "indefinite suspension" actually means.

If he doesn't miss significant playing time, IlSU is in more trouble than I thought.

It'll be interesting to see how long he is suspended for. ISU starts off the regular season at VCU, home vs Drexel and at Northwestern. Coach Muller doesn't have the luxury of holding him out of the exhibition games plus a few games early on against 300+ rpi teams.

Really?

This hit-and-run post doesn't even make sense. I doubt we'll ever get an explanation.

If he was comparing Muller's athletes getting arrested or in trouble with the law every 5 days to Marshall's athletes, then this poor sap needs a new brain transplant.

But then again, this just continues to prove what I said about the majority of Redbird fans.

Not from a court production standpoint, obviously. From a program standpoint.

You'd be a better team in the short-term with him on the court. You'll be a better program in the long-term if he's suspended.

Muller is a very young coach. You don't want him to establish this precedent. It will spiral on your program, fast. You're not going to be a good team this season with him on the court to start the season or not. Take a stand and establish a precedent of running a clean, disciplined program, rather than one that will ignore anything their best players to give them a better shot at winning. It will be MUCH better for Illinois State as a program.

Not saying he should be suspended for the season. But he should miss minimum of five games to start the season.
