We obviously have a very poor record of getting to the NCAA tournament along with the other 2. But our conference record is significantly better than the other 2. (over the last 10 years) and includes a conference title pretty recently. I agree we shouldn't be calling anyone out. But we are a significantly better program than the other 2 over the past 10 years and in that timespan we would rank 4 or 5 overall IMO. No where close to being a bottom feeder. Certainly below our capability though (again IMHO) .

MSU won 4.5% more MVC games in the past 5 years than "clearly the worst program in the Valey."

Truth is there are two good teams over the past decade and neither Evansville nor MSU is close.

Did you read my post? I was clearly talking about the last 10 years. In the past 5 we obviously have several wretched years. And I never said were close to the level of CU or WSU over the past decade. Just that we have been a overall middle of the pack. Certainly nothing to brag about but in no way have we been a drag on the conference most years.

Yes I read it, and agrinut kept saying ten years was the measure of a program. Others were saying 5 gives the best measurement of where a program is currently at. I happen to agree that 5 years is a better metric, so I posted it. This whole conversation is stemming from Agrinut trolling.

Well we'll have to disagree on 5 vs 10 years. I agree with agrinut there. 5 years is too short a timespan to measure a program. A coaching transition, a bad recruiting year, a rash of injuries, etc can make the 5 year record look bad but don't necessarily mean a program is headed in the wrong direction.

It all depends on how bad you want to make another program look. If you really want to trash them, then include a ten year span where they really sucked. If you want to see where a program is going, then you use a five year period where they have had relative success. There is nothing in all these stupid, and meaningless, figures that show that the Aces are going in the wrong direction.

I don't disagree with you regarding the Aces and the way they have been going lately. When someone trashes the Bears it's just hard not to chime in with a defense. I'm sure that's also true for Aces fans. I'm done with this "stupid meaningless" discussion.

BU should be at 3, if each game played counts.

Those who don't learn from past mistakes are bound to repeat them! MSU vs UE .. UE wins 3of 4 and lost by a point last year at MSU. We swept UNI the past two years and we swept a final four team last year. I believe the Aces have learned a few things in the past few years.

UE hasn't been who they should have been the past ten years because of their leaders... Merfeld and Vinson . But the new Admin and Coach has learn by those previous example.
