Looks like a lot of the voters in the AP poll are placing WSU in a similar spot as the coaches. I would expect that ranking to come in between 15-20. That's a great spot for the Valley to have a team in the preseason. Really increases the possibilities for more than one ranked team, and multiple NCAA bids. I really think InSU has a good shot at flirting with the rankings a lot this season. And I'm hopeful that one or two of UNI, Bradley and MSU will have things together in the non-con and be solid top-50 teams.

Pot meet kettle; fact is you just don't like someone who fires back. As the post by iSASO illustrates, some thought going to a Final 4 meant they could say whatever they wanted about another University and they just had to take it. As glm38 pointed out, every University in the MVC has had success and failure, it's not hard to find either and comment back to someone in kind. I have no problem with being charged as someone who fires their shots, just don't be a hypocrite and act like you don't.

I asked Coach Marshall the night whether he was happy about the pre-season ranking. He said he didn't care about the rankings at this point in the season, but followed that with the statement that the team is fully aware that they will be the hunted with a target on their back every night. He said that's the place you strive to be and they are prepared to embrace the responsibility that comes with being the favorite in pretty much every game during the season.

Nice try, but unfortunately I didn't even post in this thread until page 4 by which time you had already thrown about 6-7 posts with your constant anti CU rant into the fray. I just picked up on what others had already pointed out about your obsession. And I think you clearly proved my point with your above putdown of innocent Evansville and your belief that other Universities posters "have a place ". My place is to post whatever I chose and to not think that just because your chosen University is enjoying a nice run of success that it entitles you to a status above anyone else on this board. Then ignore me. All you do is coddle everybody around here. You're so afraid to ruffle the feathers up anywhere and make best buddies on the internets that in many ways, you don't even seem like a WSU fan, but rather Father Paul and his need to rally everybody up together.
