You are correct. The eye test can help a fan see his team's strengths and weaknesses. Too many novices look at Ws and Ls and start with predictions. Too many other factors involved in determining how well a team will fare in conference play. One possession losses early on are not a good indicator. Also, teams gel at different speeds.

That is really terrible injury timing for the Bears- their exempt tournament is right after Thanksgiving and features a game vs. A&M and then vs. Virginia/SMU.

Hopefully at least one of the two players will be available by then.

I really hope both those young men are ok. Injuries suck for everyone. Let's hope it's a just a tweak and a little swelling and they'll be back in 3 or 4 days.

Bear fans a little help...was it Pickens or Gulley that "retired" with a season left because of bad knees? Or have both those kids suffered knee injuries over the years? I don't know why I can keep those 2 straight.

Pickens retired, gulley missed last season recovering from an ACL tear.

you may be out of luck, since it's on TV I don't think it'll be on the net, I tried watching the Maryland game on the net Friday and since it was on CBSSN it was not available online.
