Drake @ Fresno State 11/29

Bulldogs play Fresno at 9 PM tonight in Fresno, as part of a round-robin tournament. Will be another challenging game for DU.

Go Bulldogs! I watched one game (UIC) this year and have checked the box scores. Concerns about the bigs? VanDeest takes up space and Daddy is athletic, but not seeing much down low.

Van Deest is just rounded into shape physically, and has been getting better with each game. Freshman Jacob Enevold Jensen is also getting better every day, as he gets accustomed to American basketball. Van Deest and Jensen are both listed at 6'11", but Jensen appears taller than SVD to me. Jensen is 240 pounds and is extremely aggressive, which has led to foul trouble. When he learns to reign it in a little bit, he'll become a good player. With his size and aggressiveness, I could see him being an all-conference player a few years down the road.

Drake battles back from a 10-0 deficit out of the gate to lead 37-35 at halftime. Fresno is shooting 50% from long range. Gary Ricks, Jr., has 13 to lead Drake.

Rich Carter buries a three from the corner after a nice pass by VanDeest to give Drake a 75-66 lead with 2:30 left.
