UNI at Iowa

I think the Hawkeyes will improve this season, I just hope it doesn't start until after they play the Panthers and Bulldogs.

UNI dictates the tempo again and wins 66-59.

Iowa is a favorite, because they are playing at home and road games are going to be tough for this UNI team at this point.

Historically, UNI has been terrible when playing in Iowa City, and I believe we have only won in Carver Hawkeye Arena 1 time (2006).

Iowa is not good. But they are playing at home against a young UNI team. And we are missing a key player yet (Kerwin Dunham), and I think that is going to catch up to us at some point. Losing him really hurts us defensively, IMO.

I am not confident in picking a winner, but I do expect a very very tight game.

If we win it certainly won't be a "steal" as Iowa is not good. This being played in Iowa city and UNI not being as experienced in the past makes me nervous. I think UNI will win a close one.

UNI up by 1 at the half. Bad offensive start, but UNI did a good job weathering the storm. Missed opportunities at the end of the half though, and Iowa has shot 11 free throws to UNI's 2. That has to change in the second half.
