Sorry grammer and english not a strong point of mine, No, I don't think they will compete for the title this year, would be happy with a top 6 finish, I do feel that gibson is the real deal and with the shooting they have I feel by the end of the year they will be tough to beat.

And comedy is not yours but everything I said is factual, look at the stats.

That's good because I wasn't joking. How can you tell Sawvell didn't improve by the stats? The minutes played and how they are distributed throughout the game make a big difference. If two players play ten minutes apiece it looks the same in the stats. A player playing ten minutes straight will likely have better stats than a guy getting five two minute intervals. Sawvell had an excellent summer over seas proving that he has gotten better. Moore had a very good first half but didn't see action the first 12 minutes of the second half. Nothing better to cool a player off than extended minutes on the pine. Typical way Marty treats the bigs.

I watched Ryan play all his home games, and all that were either televised, or streamed. He was never an accomplished defensive player. Sometimes when his man would score he wouldn't be within 6 feet of him. In the Knight/Simmons brand of basketball, poor defensive players don't get the minutes that we fans think they should. Sad to say, but he won't be missed. Anything gained on the offensive end was lost on the defensive end.

If that were strictly adhered to, there wouldn't be an Aces team this year. UE has the worst ranked D in the MVC, and sits one spot ahead of a 1-5 Army team.

With the goal of playing more of an inside-outside game in the Aces’ motion offense, Sawvell said he had been told he needed to improve his 3-point shooting and ball-handling. But the message didn’t quite sink in last summer, Sawvell admits,

“It’s not that I didn’t take it seriously, but maybe I just didn’t know certain things to work on in specific areas,” Sawvell said. “They said shooting and dribbling, and I’d go on the gun (basketball’s version of a pitching machine), dribble the ball a few times and shoot. This was an article taken from this summer with Sawvell admiting that he hadn't put in the work to improve in the areas the coaches wanted him to. The global sports academy team was not an impressive group of players and if typical of most tours playing against weak competition. I have nothing against Sawvell or Marty, I feel like he could have helped this season, but I know this, if he were as good as you make him out to be or good as he thought he was he would have been a starter last year even before Blake came in, so if he wants to be a starter and the go to guy he needs to play division 2. Also, this teams defense will get better as the year goes along just like all of Marty's teams have.

Sounds like the coaches did a poor job of communicating what they wanted. That 36 minute, 4 point, 3 rebound, no defense performance spoke volumes about junior. If Sawvell needs to go D2 then Blake is a D3 player at best.
