I highly doubt that Blake will move to the 4 or 5 spots. Blake and Sawvell haven't been in competition for time at the same position yet this year. This is a Coach Alexander deal.

Do you actually believe what you write?

I believe my eyes Perhaps you should
A go to an Aces game
B watch the Aces game
C listen to an Aces games

I have watch watch every game, heard every game. What is your excuse

I believe your name is Bouchie

Aren't you the same guy that couldn't find Sawvell in that picture you posted on the Aces board. He was standing right next to coach.

Players would be well advised to never read fan boards populated by amateur NBA scouts and armchair coaches. It'll get you nowhere except maybe to a D2 school coached by your best friend.

That sounds better than having daddy hose others to make playing time for you.

[Sorry, I don't base my opinions about players on single games.

It looks like you don't base your opinions on actual facts either. Blake is already closing in on the number of minutes Sawvell got all last year. Hard to create your own shot from the bench or setting screens in the few minutes one gets. Blake's numbers are still poor despite being skewed by a couple blowout wins over D3 schools.

Let me see if I have this right. What I remember from Sawvell's Fr year was that he was playing down low - pretty much down on the block and was most effective down low. And that he was on the All-Valley Fr team.

I was a bit surprised last year when he didn't seem to be as effective as he had been his Fr year. Was that because the Euro's were playing post and he was supposed to play further away from the basket?

Then, over the summer he was supposed to work on his 3-point shooting and his handles so he could drive from the perimeter, and he wasn't really interested in doing a lot of that?

At 6'8" and 200 lbs, he's a little light to bang down low, although he did that OK his Fr year. It looks like Simmons wanted to turn him into a stretch 4, and that's not something every 6'8" guy can (or will) do.

With all due to respect to UE fans....isn't there an Evansville board you could take this argument to?

With all due respect, isn't there a fan board for each team elsewhere? So what do we discuss here? Mascots? The conference logo maybe?

Who knows? Next year Blake may "skew" his numbers against the D3 team that lands Sawvell. Wouldn't that be delicious irony?

Apparently not at-large bids.
