But shocker fans being shocker fans will spend the next couple of months trying to convince everyone that their conference wins are basically meaningless. Hilarious! Insane. But hilarious!

Please list us the at-large resumes of every Valley team and let us know what we're missing. What is WSU's record in the Valley the last 3 years? If it's any close to what that average record is, they'll be fine. No team is going in through a season undefeated. Upsets happen. The committee knows this. That's why even though the Valley was a 2 bid last year, they still received an at large bid with 6 Valley losses.

The committee shouldn't be looking at last year or the year before or the year before that. Old news. To receive an at-large bid, Wichita State must do all of their impressing before January. Shocker fans only see cupcakes with the rest of the schedule. Will their huge wins over Western Kentucky, William & Mary, Tennessee State, and North Carolina Central be enough to offset two months worth of cupcakes? We'll know on Selection Sunday. But until then, you can help your cause by letting the committee know how weak you think your conference is. To that end, you are off to a good start but don't get complacent.

I like the part where you tried to cherry-pick the buy games to accentuate WSU's terrible schedule compared to the Valley, but in doing so included a NC Central team that has now and will have a higher RPI than most Valley teams.

You have no idea what your talking about and obviously looked over Alabama, Davidson, and Tennessee to help make your point as you had to look at the schedule to see that WSU still had North Carolina Central. The committee won't look at last year and that isn't what he said. "Off to a good start", kind of an obvious if you are 8-0 and ranked #10 in the country don't you think?

That's the spirit. With all those one-bid "cupcake" wins you'll have in January and February, talking up those 3 "big names" in December is a great idea. Of course, you haven't actually beaten any of those 3 yet and they have a combined 12-10 record but what do I know? You're the expert.

Well they've already beaten BYU, who has an RPI of 9, and St. Louis, who has an RPI of 46. We get it. You're offended because some of us don't think the Valley is a 6-bid league. It pisses you off. You have yet to defend your argument in any way other than saying "if SIU or Evansville goes undefeated the rest of the way, they'll be at-large teams." Great analysis.

For being the Answer Man, you sure don't know how to answer questions well.

Which Valley team do you want me to talk up? What team besides WSU at this time would be a better win than BYU or SLU? I never said that WSU will go undefeated and I don't think they will in conference, but there is a difference in beating SLU or BYU and beating the second place Valley team. As it looks now, those will be WSU's best wins no matter who else they beat this season.

If it's RPI you want it's RPI you get. Alabama 101, Tennessee 151, Davidson 102. So are you saying that wins over those "powerhouses" will get you that at-large bid? Those are MVC "cupcake" numbers. Unless things improve, they won't be dancing. And BTW, if you really are worshipping at the altar of the RPI, UK won't be dancing either with their RPI of 79. Wanna bet? So it looks like a win over North Carolina Central is your best hope. Good luck.

Yes, we all know Alabama's and Tennessee's RPI won't go up once they start SEC play. You win Answer Man!

I don't want you talking up any Valley team. Best case scenario would be any other team but Shockers winning Arch Madness and Shockers off to the N.I.T. Sometimes arrogance needs a trip to the woodshed.

What other Valley team deserves to be "talked up"? Why don't you do it? You are obviously jealous and just want to argue.
