UE couldn't hold on. It was no choke job. Foul trouble and missed FT's did them in.

Is Black really Baller? Lol. If this is true, is this his 3rd name?

Too bad coach ran of Sawvell..... 2 loses because of that decision. Will the Aces hire phelps in the offseason?

Didn't Happen Sawvell abandon his hopes of playin D1 ball He'll be playing at KWC next year or semester depend on when Marty files the paperwork

Fouls were disportional in the second half. Xavier got in the bonus @ the 7 minute mark the Aces got to the 1-1 with less than 3 minutes in the game When the zebras put the Ace's Point Guard and Center on the bench the Musketeers made their come back.

Thought that even with the loss, the Aces made great strides on the road. We'll see what carries over when the Aces go to Drake to open Conference play.

Jackson State(Sat)and Butler(Wed) visits the Ford Center the next 8 days.

Other than the two bad calls on Boo in the second half, I don't think there was a disparity in the officiating. - Maybe the foul on the made 3 pointer looked ticky-tack - lots of acting on the shooter, but there was only one replay of it.

Giving up 3 buckets or shooting fouls on out of bounds plays under their basket is poor coaching (who teaches the defenders to turn their back to the ball?)

The timeout with 8:10 left was a bad coaching call - and there was a turnover on the inbounds.

The times the Aces are in a good offensive flow have been when guys were dribble driving to the basket and getting layups - Boo had a stretch in the first half, Brown had 3 or 4 of them.

The play has also been good with two bigs in the game and both IN THE LANE. Both at Xavier & last week at Murray St.

Ace Dad - please don't start the "one possession" talk for the upteenth year in a row. Yes they come down to execution on the floor, but I have yet to see a GOOD end of game possession/play in the last 6 years I have had season tickets and really followed Marty & the Aces closely. - Both "one possession road losses" have been disasters at the end.

It put UE point guard on the bench with EMO. 2nd half fouls UE gave them nineteen tries at the free throw line Evansville got 8. The disparity was there. Didn't say it wasn't warranted but after JB made his dunk on X did you see the elbow purposely thrown at his head by X. or the smack in Emo nose after the block shot with 2minutes left ... no calls.. I'll take them both way .. Over the back for EMO 5th..just going for the ball in a tight game. UE lost when EMO and Gibson set for the 8 minutes in the second half saddle with quick fouls in the 2nd half.

UE grad, I have been watching college basketball since 1974. A one possession game is beautiful basketball. Creates stress and tension and excitement. You will see many more the next 30 years . Hopefully the Aces are on the winning end. By the way......not much difference in the energy, effort, or talent expended in a one possession loss or win :)
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.
