Black, prove me wrong:

Again, most teams that lose a game, led the game at one point or another. Check the game flows for yourself. Also, basketball is a game of runs.

Whether biddy ball or college basketball, true basketball people can analyze the game. You are full of "fanspeak" and simply look at Ws and Ls. My 5 year old granddaughter can do a better analysis.

Watch the game for several more years and you just may learn how close losses early in a season can help a young team improve. Or, you can be the idiot Duke fan who lives in Montana and roots for Duke because they win each year.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

[Need to check your stats before running your mouth. Blake 1. Best shooting game Valpo. which included 3 - 3 pointers(3 more than Sawvell had in career) 2. Most rebounds Xavier. 3.Most ast Mercer/IUPUI and he has 4 more blocks (5) than Sawvell (1) had in half the minutes. P.S. by the way they did win last Saturday at home.[/quote]
Miami has one D1 win and IUPUI has won 2 but none without Stanton. Are you Marty's son?

In the four losses Blake is a combined 7-26 from the floor, 3-20 from 3, 12 rebounds, and 7 turnovers while averaging over 30 minutes per game. You judge talent by what they do against the best competition not the worst.

What does Miami have to do with his stats? Just mentioned they beat them at home sat. when you had them down for a loss. IUPUI was a win on the road, but still your original statement is false that his stats were skewed in games against division 3 teams. Not Marty's son he doesn't even know me, just get tired of people that have a basketball IQ less than their shoe size that get on these forums and think they have all the answers, go on about how bad a job Marty is doing and now dogging his son, I'm just a loyal fan, i wished they would win every game, but I understand this team is young and will only get better the next couple of years, and until they start losing the games they without of doubt should win, I'm going to be a fan of Marty and the Aces.

OK maybe that's why Sawvell quit, against IU and Ohio this year 0 points in 28 minutes 0-5 ( 0-2 from 3)

Is the seat for Marty getting a little warm? If five years in the Valley he has never finished above .500 in conference, 16 games bellow .500 in conference play, and17 games below .500 overall.

There was nothing ran for Sawvell to score. Let's hope if that's why Sawvell left that Blake follows quickly.

I'm sure Marty's seat is very warm but unfortunately it's not from his lack of coaching success.

:D Watched some of the game and didn't realize he put all the weight back on and it looked like even a little more.
